Boombox Barbell is a USA Weightlifting team of competitive lifters of all levels. Boombox Barbell’s Weightlifting Club is designed to maximize performance in the two competition lifts – the snatch and the clean and jerk. Our WLC is an opportunity for athletes to dedicate time and focused attention to learning the various positions and elements of the Olympic lifts. Olympic-style weightlifting improves coordination, flexibility, strength, power and speed, enhancing athletic performance in all sports as well as functionality in life.

Our mission is to create a weightlifting team that sends lifters to local and national meets several times a year. Boombox Barbell is suitable for a variety of athletes including those who want to compete in the sport of weightlifting and those who want to improve two of the fundamental CrossFit movements.

I didn’t choose this path. This path chose me. Being an athlete all my life, I fell in love with how the body works. I’ve always loved testing my body’s limits so naturally I participated in all sorts of sports. At the age of 6, I started wrestling till the age of 14. I took martial arts to supplement wrestling. High school came around and the school did not have a wrestling team. Took a liking to Football and that is where I was exposed to the Clean. The clean quickly became my favorite lift. I love the clean because it has the perfect mix of technicality and strength. The sport of weightlifting is one of the most athletic sports. Takes a huge amounts of mobility, speed, balance, coordination, strength and endurance perfectly intertwined to take an athlete on a never ending journey to better in both the snatch and clean and jerk.

Boombox Barbell Club $30 Members/$50 Non-Members (Monthly)

-12 week program
-customized program (your goals)
-4x per week
-2x a week at the box w/ coach (Wed/Sat Oly)

Tinahui Advanced Weightlifting $60 Members/$100 Non-Members (Monthly)

-12 week custom program
-4 1-on-1 sessions ($240 value)
-customized individual program
-Custom focus (strength/weakness/technical)
-private Facebook group
-4x per week
-1x a week at the box w/ coach (Wed Oly)
-2 week assessment phase (prior to start of the program) ($60 value)
-video analysis/feedback of your lifts (fb group)
